So I've had a bit of downtime lately and for good reason -- I've both moved to a full-time schedule at my other job, and have switched from working nights to working days. Which is bringing me in steadier income, and means that I'm no longer dependent on commissioned work to make ends meet. This is a huge relief for me, as the past six months of working on commissioned work, while it has been rewarding and kept me afloat far longer than I expected, I am immensely exhausted. I'm looking forward to the chance to work on my own pieces now, along with my own stories and comics, and giving you new things that *aren't* commissioned works from others.
Additionally, I'm currently in the process of moving! I've packed up much of my room, and have been helping my roommate pack and clean... [ Continued ... ]

Hey everyone! It's been a few weeks since I've blogged here - much of that has been wrapping up commissions, as well as doing some personal art and gearing up for my next big comic project. I've also been trying to get some downtime away from my tablet. Working part time as an artist and making that part of a living is fun, but it can definitely be tiring. I love taking commissions but I have to give myself breaks here and there to keep the workload from burning me out and keep my work sustainable. I've got multiple new commissions to post over the next few weeks, and my newest personal piece is one I was really excited to finally sit down and draw. Vore? In your Star Trek fanart?? It's more likely than you think, and you'll see the results of that in the very near future. I hope you like... [ Continued ... ]
Hey everyone! Giving you all a quick Sunday update to announce that Groblek and I's comic first collaboration, Unbirthing with Dr. Brigid, is now on sale! Enjoy 28 pages of unbirthing, age regression, transformation, and horror featuring his Dr. Brigid and my own Ms. Millie as they take you on a tour of the doctor's less-than-completely-ethical medical practice! Pick up the comic today on his website: https://groblek.com/product/unbirthing-with-dr-brigid-comic/ and know that your purchase helps support both of our creative work.
This story has been a long time in production, in no small part from the struggle of trying to get up and going creating art as part of my living. The wait, I promise, is well worth it! I hope you enjoy, and hope you'll look forward to future... [ Continued ... ]
Posting real quick to let folks know that I am nearly done with my comic collab with Groblek, "Unbirthing with Dr. Brigid"! I just got the final proof back with some corrections to make to the lettering, but once those are addressed the comic will be finalized and sent off to publish! It'll be available for sale soon from his website. Stay tuned for links, as well as a look at the cover art!
I'll be taking a much deserved break over the next several days after a month-long sprint to finish this project, but I'll be back to work soon on finishing summer commissions, as well as preparing artwork for my next comic collaboration - details on that to come soon as well. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying a day by the water this weekend, a fun S&M scene with a friend,... [ Continued ... ]
Anyway! Things are cooking right along! I've got five commissions sketched and in the oven ready to be inked, and I'm about a third of the way through inking "Unbirthing with Dr. Brigid", my comic collab with Groblek that'll be coming out next month. It's been a long while in production, and it's been a long ro-- *hooked off stage* It's been a wh-- *hooked off stage again* It's taken a bit to get things done because of the stress of trying to keep bills paid, but we're almost there! I'm currently targeting mid-to-late August for release, so keep your eyes peeled.
Also, if you support me over on SubscribeStar, you'll get previews of not only my up-coming commissioned pieces, but a sneak peek at the first few pages of the comic!... [ Continued ... ]
Just to make folks aware, I am open for commissions for the month of June! In the interest of maintaining my sanity as I try to navigate working enough part-time hours to cover my essential bills while still making progress as an artist, I am planning to limit slots to four this time around. Hopefully, this should keep me from getting overwhelmed with work and allow me to make progress on various comic projects, while avoiding the risk of burnout.
I've already gotten a commitment from one client of mine for work, leaving three slots open for additional work. Your commissions help me keep afloat financially and allow me to continue making cool, kinky art for all to enjoy. Plus, you get art that suits YOUR interests! How cool is that, right?
I would normally do a Friday update here, but I just want to be quick and blunt about things here.
As y'all know, I've been trying to juggle working at my artwork as part of my living for the last few months. While I've been able to get a part time job to cover some of my basic expenses, I'm still left with about $920 in bills each month to cover. I was hoping that I could sustain that much with my art, but I appear to be falling short. I barely made enough in May to cover this expense, and I don't have a lot of confidence that I can make it for this month.
This crappiest part is that I would need to sustain this much in earnings from art for an entire year from now in order to make ends meet. I knew I was going up against steep headwinds even attempting to make... [ Continued ... ]
Another short update, mostly just to let folks know how things are going as we close out May and head into June.
Business slowed down during May, bringing in a total of $1,535 between advances and commissions. Which still was good enough, especially now that I'm working part time, but it also makes my road ahead look a bit rough. I'm still a ways from finishing my next comic project - the storyboard and roughs are done, but I still need to pencil and finish the project. Commission sales were extremely slow - the portrait sale seemed to be largely be a bust, though I also didn't put much effort into promoting it after it didn't get any response in the initial days after posting. I'm hoping June will be a bit better for business - I'll need to hit a minimum of about $900 in... [ Continued ... ]
Another week down, another block of artwork done! You'll notice my latest commissioned piece posted to my gallery, as well as on social media, where it really seems to be hopping. Huzzah! As an extra treat, you'll be getting a bonus, personal drawing I've finished recently of Laurina... you'll have to wait until Wednesday to see what I've cooked up, OR... you can go right now to my SubscribeStar and get it by subscribing for $10 a month. That's a small price to pay to see my art before anyone else does, right?
In any case, I'm nearing the bottom of my commission queue, and I plan to cut back open commission slots from 10 to 5 on June 1st. As I've shared before, I want to lighten my load now that I'm working part time so I have time to dedicate to both my comic projects with... [ Continued ... ]
